The Integration Health dashboard (Payroll tab → Integration Health) is home base for every integrated payroll customer. It shows whether Employee Navigator and payroll are in sync, tells you exactly what to fix when a change fails, and lets you push, pull or retry any employee's data on demand — one employee at a time or in bulk — without contacting Support.
What is the purpose of this dashboard?
- Confidence that your data is aligned: the latest changes reached payroll and demographics, deductions and employer contributions match.
- Find and fix changes that did not process, with instructions you can follow without contacting Support.
- Push, pull or retry employee data whenever you want, individually or in bulk.
What does each status bucket mean?
- In Sync — your most recent changes processed successfully and demographics, deductions and employer contributions match between Employee Navigator and payroll. No action needed.
- Needs Action — a recent change failed and the data is out of sync. Something must be fixed in Employee Navigator or in payroll; the dashboard gives simple instructions so you can resolve it without calling Support.
- We're on it — the change failed because of an issue in your payroll partner's system. Employee Navigator retries these automatically after hours, or you can retry them yourself, individually or in bulk.
New features included in this dashboard
- Pull in or push out employee demographics or payroll cost data anytime for any employee: Actions icon → Push to Payroll or Pull data from payroll, or select multiple employees and categories and use the Push & Pull button.
- Ignore Needs Action failures that have already been taken care of in payroll: Actions icon → Ignore this transmission. The item moves to In Sync.
- Actions History: a log of every push, pull and ignore taken by a user, filterable to the last 30, 90, 180 or 360 days or All Time, and exportable to Excel.
Frequently asked questions
What if I have a lot of Needs Action items I want to retry?
Select the items (or use the select-all checkbox at the top of the table) and click Push & Pull to retry them in bulk.
What is happening to the original Transmissions link?
It is being removed. It showed transmissions that were confusing or out of date, and Integration Health replaces it. This link should no longer be used.
What happened to the Partner Audit link's Retrieve and Compare option in the employee profile?
Integration Health replaces it. In the In Sync section, find the employee's Demographics (Inbound) or Demographics (Outbound) row and use the Actions icon to pull from or push to payroll.
Can HR be notified of Needs Action items on their Company Homepage?
Not yet — this is planned for a future release.
Can Needs Action items across all my agency's companies be rolled up to my Agency Homepage → Reports?
Not yet. This is a future enhancement; the first release focused on resolving items and enabling push, pull and retry for each company.
Why is my dashboard taking a bit of time to load?
The first load after the October 27, 2025 release takes longer while the new rules are applied to existing transmissions. Later loads are faster, though large companies may still see 15–20 seconds for now.
